Home Based Care (HBC), Community-Based Child Care Centres, and an Integrated HIV and AIDS Response. These programs address critical gaps in healthcare by bringing services directly to communities, particularly for those with limited access to facilities.
LLCHC’s partnership with district health offices through service-level agreements (SLAs) enhances healthcare affordability. In Addition, LLCHC implements projects which are aligned to the Diocesan Mission Statement to enhance access and utilization of HIV, Malaria and TB services to ensure that people have positive health outcomes hence reduced mortality and morbidity rates.
LLCHC is a secretariat of 19 health facilities in the Archdiocese namely Likuni, Mlale, St. Gabriel, St. John of God, Madisi, Franscisco Palau Mtengowanthenga Mission Hospital; Nambuma, Guilleme, Ludizi,Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Kapiri and Alinafe Community Hospitals and St. Kizito, St. Chavara, Malambo, Chezi, St. Denis, Thavite, Kaphatenga and Chitala Health Centres. In Addition, LLCHC implements projects which are aligned to the Diocesan Mission Statement to enhance access and utilization of HIV, Malaria and TB services to ensure that people have positive health outcomes hence reduced mortality and morbidity rates. These projects focus on HIV, Malaria and TB case identification, linkages to care and treatment, retention of the client in treatment and achievement of durable viral load suppression. .
